Retirement Application Packets:
IMPORTANT! If you are intending to retire, you must request an official retirement benefit estimate approximately six months prior to your expected retirement date. Once you have received your estimate, please download the necessary application packet for the appropriate retirement plan. You may complete the application forms on-line, print the completed forms, sign and have notarized where needed, and send the completed forms to our office for processing. Your benefit will commence when your employer confirms your termination and final contributions are received. Failure to obtain an official estimate in advance, could significantly delay your benefit.

Non-Vested Members (less than 48 months of service)
- Refund Instructions and Checklist- Please select this option only if you have less than 48 months of service in the Wyoming Retirement System and want a refund or rollover of funds. For Pension only.
Vested Members (48 months of service or more)
- Account Refund: Vested Member - There are certain things you need to know about getting an account refund if you have a total of 48 or more months of contributions in the Wyoming Retirement System (WRS). Most importantly, you will forfeit your right to a monthly benefit at retirement. To fully understand the lifetime benefit you are forfeiting, you must obtain an official benefit estimate from WRS before you may take a refund on your account.
