Volunteer EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
Just as community volunteers are more important than ever, so is saving for retirement. That is why the Wyoming Legislature established a pension plan for volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) as of July 1,2008. The plan was created to help recruit and retain volunteers who provide invaluable services to our communities. The EMT Pension Plan is managed by the Wyoming Retirement System and its board of directors is comprised of volunteer EMTs.
